Kwadwo Asamoah donates to James Town prison

Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah and television giants Metro TV on Saturday 1st July 2017 donated food and items worth thousands of cedis to inmates of the James Camp Prison in Accra.

The event that was graced by PFAG boss Tony Baffoe, the deputy Italian Ambassador Lorenzo Pinelli, Black Stars midfielder Agyemang Badu, musician Obrafour and host of other celebrities also saw the Kwadwo Asamoah Foundation and Metro Sports project commission a newly built pitch for the inmates.

The renovation of the pitch to a playable standard was a fulfilment of a promise made to the prisoners who are referred to as "Adehye3" by Kwadwo Asamoah when he visited them exactly a year ago.

The renovated pitch was commissioned with a match between Kwadwo Asamoah 11 which was made up of some staff from Metro TV, footballers and celebrities and James Camp 11 which was mainly made up the inmates.

James Camp 11 won 3-2 on penalties after an entertaining 1-1 draw

Music Legend Obrafour and Agyemang Badu thrilled the jubilant inmates with Obrafour's Kase3bo track that featured Guru.
