Two clubs SIGN the same player on the same night

It is very rare, and equally as strange when two clubs announce the signing of a player on the same evening, but that's exactly what happened in Belfast on Thursday night.

After leaving York City, Robinson - who grew up in the Northern Ireland capital - has been confirmed by two clubs from within the city, Linfield FC and his former side Crusaders FC.

Both sides tweeted of their apparent latest signing on Thursday evening, but it is yet to be seen as to whom he has actually agreed a deal with.

The matter is likely to be solved by the weekend, and the IFA will clear things up as soon as possible. However, Linfield have claimed to have signed Robinson on a four year deal, whereas Crusaders believe they have tied him down for three years.

Despite training with Crusaders on Tuesday night, Linfield seem fully convinced they have got their man, after announcing it on their club website:

"I'm delighted to be able to advise our supporters that Josh Robinson has tonight agreed to join Linfield on a 3 year contract." Claimed Linfield manager David Healy.
