Richard Lai was guilty for taking $1m from officials looking to buy influence, with International Olympic Committee member Ahmad Al-Sabah of Kuwait implicated.

Julio Rocha and Rafael Esquivel took bribes in exchange of awarding media and marketing rights for World Cup Qualifiers and continental tournament matches such as Copa America.

Corruption has taken center stage in FIFA since Sepp Blatter was asked to proceed on a six year ban from football after he was being investigated for allegations of bribery corruption and receiving gifts in 2016.
