Asante Kotoko head coach hits out at the FA for poor planning

Coach of the Porcupine Warriors Steve Pollack has hit hard on the GFA for poor planning of the 2016/2017 season of the Ghana Premier League.

The Ghana Premier League had issues which amounted to initial delay of the tournament. Due to the league’s inability to finish ahead of the the WAFU tournament the league had to be put on hold for close to three weeks.

The league had also initially had to break for one month to break for a month to clear some outstanding games which predominantly involved Kumasi Asante Kotoko

“We have to wait 4 weeks which is like a whole pre-season to play four league games and the cup games as well”

“Then we go on again to start a whole new pre-season before we get into the new season.”

“I think they have to look at the organization of the WAFU tournament again and when it should be played”

“The FA should also get their act together in order to start a new Ghana Premier League season on time.”

Kumasi Asante Kotoko currently lie 4th on the Ghana Premier League with 39 points. The Porcupine Warriors will go up against Ashanti Gold at home, Bechem United away, Berekum Chelsea at home before ending the season with Liberty Professionals.
