Hearts of Oak will not stop players from leaving the club - Opare Addo

Hearts of Oak PRO explains that his club are willing to allow any player to move once the offer is right.

This comes at the back of a number of key players like Vincent Atingah, Thomas Abbey, Fatawu Mohammed and Kwame Kizito all on their way out of the club as their contracts run out.

The coach the club in speaking to Class FM on the programme Sports Grand Stand made the revelation that it is not necessarily the intention of Accra Heart of Oak to stop players from exiting the club.

He also re-emphasized that the club’s future is also considered when an offer comes for the player to leave.

“One thing we must know is that Hearts of Oak will not stand in the way of any player. Once the offer comes and we look at the future of the player and it is good for you and it is also good for the club, we will let you move on.”

Vincent Atingah has been declared a free agent as he submitted a request to the Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

Kwame Kizito is battling a move to Swedish club BK Hacken as Hearts of Oak is yet to accept a training and development fee from the Scandinavian side.

Thomas Abbey as well was reported to be having trials in South Africa. Only time will tell how the Hearts of Oak transfer story will end.
