John Mensah who retired after the 2012 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) will not hesitate to end his career playing in the local league.

“I won’t say no to playing in the local league although I haven’t thought of that. As at now, my main focus is to recover fully from my injury problems,” he told Graphic Sports.

“I don’t have any preferred destination because I have to start training for the clubs to see me and then bid for me before I can decide on where to move to,” he added.

Mensah last played actively for AFC Ekilstuna in the Allsvenskan league but injuries hampered his stay with the Swedish club.
