Wa All Stars fight from goal down to beat Hearts of Oak

The champions of the Ghana Premier League came from a goal down to beat Hearts of Oak 2-1 at the Wa Park.

Samudeen Ibrahim shot the Phobians into the lead with six inutes into the second half of the game.

But Wa All Stars benefited from an own goal scored by Robin Gnagne to restore parity for the home side.

Before David Abagna won the day for Wa All Stars from the spot kick in the 70 minute, after Inusah Musah had handled the ball in the 18-yard box.

It was a bad day in office for Hearts of Oak as they saw their skipper Thomas Abbey sent off for challenging the referee.
