Hearts coach has insulted me several times - Aduana Stars coach

Aduana Stars head coach Yusif Abubakar replies to the unsavory comments made by the Hearts of Oak Coach on his side after the pulsating encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The game ended in a 3-3 stalemate as a truckload of goals were shared equally between the two halves. After the 90 minutes, the referee on the day was also under siege due to fans of the home side disgruntled by the decisions he made during the game.

In the press conference Frank Nuttal talked about Aduana Stars playing unnecessary antiques.

Coach Yusif Abubakar had some words of his own to say in response to the Scottish coach’s comments.

“In football there are a lot of things to do to earn a point and other things you do could be part of tactical play but unfortunately this same coach has insulted me several times on the touchline."

“He has mentioned so many words as shit, stupid coach and all that. He has done that in front of his technical team who were trying to convince him to stop. This behavior is getting unabated in Ghana with this particular coach. I will not report him officially to the Football Association. The team manager of Hearts of Oak told us he wanted us to smoke the peace pipe after the game when he took me to greet him. Nuttal snubbed me and insulted me again."

"I wish we could both put our CV’s down so that he sees where some of us have done our coaching courses.  As far back as 2007 I did my UEFA license A course in Germany. He does not see himself as somebody who has no co-equal in Ghana and it’s surprising. If not due to certain things I do not think it’s proper to get a foreign coach to insult local coaches on the touchline."

"Back to the game itself, that is how he describes the medical team and I do not think it his duty as technical man. If it is his duty to describe medical teams as a technical man then I can say Hearts of Oak do not have a duty as technical team or a team manager. As a coach he should look at technical issues and that is what I am doing."

Aduana Stars go up against WAFA, Bolga All Stars, Elmina Sharks and Ashgold.  WAFA drew at home with Olympics.

The away point Aduana secured in Accra will look to be very vital if the season ends with the “Ogya” Boys lifting the title looking at how close contenders failed to amass the three maximum points at home.
