Kotoko robbed after fatal road accident

The players and the technical team members had belongings such laptops, mobile phones and undiclosed amount of money stolen by people who came in to rescue and sympathise with the team when the accident happened at Nantia which is about 3,000 km from Nkawkaw.

Nkawkaw based Agoo FM Reporter Yaw Obrimpong Yeboah who was an eye witness has confirmed the theft to Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM Thursday.

Asante Kotoko were returning from Accra following a defeat against Inter Allies on match day 22 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday, but unfortunately their bus ran into a stationery car.

The accident claimed the life of the deputy Equipment Officer of the club, Kofi Asare and several others sustained various degree of injuries.
