Amazing turn of events at Chelsea as Diego Costa has been left out of the Champions League Squad
Costa who made the claim that he did receive the message that he is no longer wanted by his manager has been on exile in his native Brazil.
The player was listed in the 25 man Premier League Squad but the English Champions in their bid to be crowned European Champions have kept him out of the squad.
Chelsea were openly in search for a forward this transfer window and they did get one in the person of Alvaro Morata.
Morata has also laid claim to the starting spot as he did register two goals and two assist in his first two games at the Stamford Bridge.
Diego Costa was not able to make a transfer out of the club and hence he was added to the squad to play the domestic league.
It should be very important to note that Diego Costa can indeed make a transfer in January to any club his of choice and play all competitions thereafter.
The reported club of Diego Costa’s choice seems to be his former club Atletico Madrid which happens to be serving a transfer ban which ends in the 2017 calander year.
Chelsea are grouped in Group C with Atletico Madrid, AS Roma and FK Qarabag.
The Blues start their campaign with FK Qarabag. The English Champions will equally host champions of Azerbaijan on September 12th.
