AFC Bournemouth send best wishes to Christian Atsu after loan spell

Christian Atsu has been recalled by Premier League Champions Chelsea after a loan spell with AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth have sent their best wishes to Ghana international Christian Atsu after Premier League Champions Chelsea recalled the player from a loan spell.

Christian Atsu who spent last season on loan at Premier League side Everton was switched to new comers AFC Bournemouth at the start of the season due to lack of games at the Merseyside.

The former FC Porto player however had a horrible time with Eddie Howe’s side despite a great pre-season with the club.

Christian Atsu did not make a Premier League appearance for AFC Bournemouth for the entire first half of the season when he was with the club. The Black Stars player made just two appearances in the Capital One Cup having struggled with a series of injury that saw him at a point return to parent club Chelsea for treatment.

The Ghanaian is expected to be sent out again on loan in the January transfer window with a host of clubs from England, Germany and France all interested in Christian Atsu.
