Black Stars player, Kelvin Prince Boateng has called on all to pray for Ghana following the heavy downpour that claimed several lives on Wednesday.

A heavy downpour in the capital city, Accra, last night has reportedly claimed over 200 lives and many others injured. Countless number of homes in many parts of Accra were flooded whiles commuters were left stranded as most roads were almost impassable. The flood caused heavy vehicular traffic at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Spintex, Kaneshie and several other places. Most drivers parked their vehicles on the inner and outer pavements to prevent their vehicles from being carried away by the flood.

In a tweet, the Black Star midfielder asked that people pray for his motherland.

“Pray for all the ppl in Ghana #accrafloods”, he appealed.
