Black Starlets talisman Sadiq Ibrahim targets move to Chelsea

The young winger wants to play for Chelsea in the near future.

The young winger has been a revelation for Ghana at the ongoing Under-17 World Cup in India, following his wonderful displays in the tournament.

Ibrahim scored the only goal as Ghana opened the tournament with a 1-0 win over Colombia, before again starring as the Black Starlets walloped India 4-0 to qualify for the knockout stages.

The Right To Dream Academy product hopes to continue shining at the tournament, and has now revealed his dream club.

According to him, it is an “ultimate dream” to play for Premier League side Chelsea, adding that he hopes to emulate star playmaker Eden Hazard.

“My ultimate dream is to play for Chelsea, just like Hazard. I think the Premier League is a brilliant platform and in five years, my target is to represent the Blues,” Ibrahim is quoted as saying by Ghanasoccernet.com.

The Black Starlets are into the knockout rounds of the U-17 World Cup after topping Group A.
