Roman Burki has a funny ritual he usually does before he keeps the sticks for any game.

The Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper is breaking the internet, with a video compilation of his pre-match ritual currently going viral.

Footballers, in general, have different rituals which the normally like to engage in before and after games.

While some like to point to the skies before a game begins, others also prefer to kneel and pray before the referee blows his whistle for the start of a game.

For Dortmund no.1 goalie Roman Burki, though, there is a weird, amid funny way of going about it.

The former Young Boys shot-stopper usually loves to pick the match-day ball from the hands of the ball girls or boys during the toss session before the ref even decides which team kickstarts the game.

In a viral video, he is captured doing this pre-match ritual for different games, including in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.

There might be different ways by which players choose to psych themselves up for a game, however, this one by Roman Burki is set to go down as the one of the most surreal ever seen.
