Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso scored his first goal for Spanish La Liga side Las Palmas on Thursday.

The Black Stars player who is on loan at the club from Rubin Kazan was handed a start in Las Palmas Copa del Rey game against Eibar away from home.

Wakaso and his side came from behind to win the game against Eibar in a five-goal thriller.

Izet Hajrovic opened the scoring for Eibar but Artiles Oliva Aythami quickly put Las Palmas level with an equalizer. Saul Berjon Perez scored another goal for Eibar to send the home team 2-1 up into the interval.

Mubarak Wakaso replicated a practiced free kick to perfection as the Ghanaian player scored an excellent goal from long range to put the game at 2-2 after the first half break.

Eibar had two men sent off before Momo scored the winning goal for Wakaso’s Las Palmas. The Black Stars midfielder played in the entire duration of the game.
