Kotoko beat Bechem United in 9-goal thriller to finish third

The Porcupine Warriors edged Bechem United 5-4 to place third in the G6 tournament on Sunday.

Ahmed Toure broke the deadlock of the game in the 5th minute, but Asante Kotoko staged a comeback to score two goals through Kwame Boateng and Prince Acquah in the 34th and 39th minutes respectively, before Emmanuel Gyamfi scored the third for Kotoko in the 42rd minute.

Back from the half time break Ahmed Toure scored his second in the afternoon against his former side, Kotoko to bring the score line 3-2.

However, Kwame Boateng scored his second goal for the Porcupine Warriors, before Yaw Arnol reduced the deficit for Bechem United in the 73th minute.

Emmanuel Gyamfi scored to register a brace in the 85th minute, but in added minutes of the game Bechem United pulled another back to make the final final score line stands at 5-4.

Asante Kotoko at the group stage walloped Bechem United 3-0.
