According to the CEO of the club, the Romania tactician has left the club because he will be undertaking a Pro License Coaching course.

“I can confirmed to you that Aristica Cioba has parted ways with the club, not because there was a problem, the only reason is  he will be undertaking a Pro License Coaching course so that is the reason,” Commey told Pulse.com.gh.

“We couldn’t do anything about it because the date for his coaching course couldn’t help both parties so we accepted his decision.”

On which coach the club is considering ahead of the upcoming season, the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member said:

“The news just came I’m currently in Accra, I will be moving to Dormaa in the coming days. I can’t take a personal decision on that because I have a team that I’m working with so the decision has to be collective,” he stressed.

Commey concluded: “Many coaches have sent in their CVs, but like I said I have to sit down with my team and take a decision on it before the team resumes preparations for the upcoming season.”

Cioba took over the former Premier League champions after Nuru Ahmed resigned following the club’s poor start to the 2015/16 season – the Romanian then defied all odds as he finished second on the log sheet with 49 points, two points behind the league champions Wa All Stars.
