Amed Toure satisfied with his side's goalless against Hearts of Oak
The reigning FA Cup champions as part of their preparations for this year’s Ghana Premier League and the CAF Confederation battled the Phobians to a pulsating scoreless drawn game on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Hunters dominated the Phobians from start to finish, but they were woeful upfront as they couldn’t convert the chances they created.
“Both sides gave out their best but the result was okay. Both teams are doing vigorous pre-season but we (Bechem United) are trying to do our best ahead of the start of the league,” Toure said after the game.
“Playing 0-0 with Hearts of Oak is not easy because some of the supporters thought Hearts will beat Bechem United 3 or 4 nil but we played 0-0 which for me is a good result.”
On their upcoming CAF Confederation duel with Libyan side Alhly Tripoli, Toure added: “ Right now the Africa competition has not started so we are continuing with our preparations. It is not easy to play in Africa but when the time is due to play Alhly Tripoli we will know not what to do.”
