Referee Ametepey whistled for a penalty, but to the surprise of the Phobian fans he rescinded the decision, after consulting his assistant and allowed play to continue.

Hearts of Oak, following the decision to disallow the penalty call began to dominate play and in one of such moves Paul Acquah managed to score the only goal in the 71st minute to give the Phobians their first away win this season.

Last season, Hearts of Oak earned a 1-2 win at this same ground to end seven-year winless streak at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
