According to Duncan the referee wasn’t up to the task as he gave away some partial free-kicks against his team at threatening positions.

Kotoko in the sizzling game took the lead through Bennet Ofori but before the break Malik Akowuah restored parity for the away side with a breath taking free kick.
It was the same old story in the second half as Michael Yeboah restored Kotoko’s lead but Bismark Oppong stunned the Kumasi based club with an exquisitely 20 yards strike.
And Duncan after his side’s 2-2 draw has blamed the center man for the way he officiated the game.
“I felt right from the beginning the way the officiating was going really unsettled us. We didn’t know the intention the middle man had quite number of threatening free-kicks in threatening positions which he awarded Medeama out of which they got one goal,” Duncan said after the game.
“So in situations like this you really don’t know exactly what to tell your players, whether to take it easy, whether to play above themselves more than 100% and all of that but I thought goals that could have been prevented were what we conceded.
“We also had some fictitious goals at the end of the day 2-2 for it is a reflection of what we played apart from the erratic officiating from the center referee,” he added.
Asante Kotoko on Wednesday will play Ashanti Gold in an outstanding fixture in Kumasi before trekking to Berekum to face Berekum Chelsea.
