Ex-captain Joe Hendricks predicts doom for Kotoko in Super Clash

Ex-Kotoko captain Joe Hendricks says his former club might get a heavy defeat against Hearts of Oak on Monday as they are not playing well at the moment

According to Hendricks, Hearts of Oak will repeat the 4-0 scoreline they handed Kotoko in 2000 if his former side don’t improved their performance.

“I watched Kotoko in three matches against Sekondi Hasaacas, Dreams FC, and New Edubiase. If you see the way Kotoko played the last game against New Edubias. I think if Kotoko use that performance on Monday, Hearts will score a lot of goals,” he told Class FM.

“You remember Hearts of Oak scored Kotoko 4-0 in 2000. The players did not play well on [Saturday] and I think that 4-0 will happen again,” he added.

Kotoko had their three-game winning streak halted by New Edubiase after losing 0-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last Saturday while the Phobians have been very impressive since the start of the league, winning 2-1 against Ashanti Gold in their last game.
