GFA hails Dreams FC for accepting to play in Division One

Kwesi Nyantakyi delighted with Dreams FC's decision to go back to Division One without a tussle.

The Kweiman based club on Monday released a statement stressing their decision to accept the Appeals Committee ruling to play in the country’s second-tier league after they fielded an unqualified player against Tema Youth two seasons ago during their days in Division One.

After the FA’s Appeals Committee ruling, Dreams FC in their earlier remarks promised a legal tussle against the Ghana FA, which in a long run will affect the start of the 2016 Ghana Premier League.

But after taking a second look at the matter, the Still Believe side have decided to accept the Appeals Committee ruling and the FA President has hailed the Kweiman based side for accepting to play in Division One.

“Their decision is reassuring that they will comply with the decision to allow sleeping dogs to lie.

“It will bring stable in our football calendar, so I want to commend them for that,” Nyantakyi told Joy FM.
