Richard Ofori

The Black Stars goalkeeper was splendid in post for Wa All Stars. He made several saves and crowned it when he stopped Abeiku Ainooson’s penalty kick to win all the three points for the league champions.

Caleb Amakwah

The right full back for WAFA has been one of the most consistent performers for the league leaders. His dribbles and runs were excellent on the day against Bolga All Stars. It was one of such moves that enabled him to find himself in a goal scoring opportunity to score the opener.

William Denkyi

He was the only player who was outstanding in the Liberty Professionals goalless draw against troubled Gt. Olympics at the Dansoman. He overlapped on countless occasions to support attack and he was spot on with his recovery rate.

Stephen Anokye Badu

He was solid at the Aduana Stars back and gave their goalkeeper a lot of cover . He intercepted several dangerous balls that could have resulted in goals.

Vincent Atingah

The Hearts of Oak centre back was at his usual best in recent times. He cleared his lines very well and helped to reduce the attacking threats of Elmina Sharks

David Abagna

He was heartbeat of the Wa All Stars team when the piped Asante Kotoko 1-0 on match day 12 of the Ghana Premier League. He intercepted about 20 balls in the midfield to frustrate Asante Kotoko and also orchestrated the lone goal of the game from Kwaku Baffour.

Gideon Waja

The box-to-box midfielder continued his run of good performance, since the start of the 2016-17 Ghana Premier League. Apart from his defensive duties, he was the most mercurial midfielder when moving forward and crowned the day with a goal for WAFA when they defeated Bolga All Stars. Waja scored his third goal of the season from set-piece.

Prince Baffoe

He was the go to man for Inter Allies against AshGold. He was the one who dictated the play of the hosts with his speed and he produced all the dangerous moves for Inter Allies. Baffoe scored the only goal of the game and was subsequently named the man of the match.

Winfred Cobbinah

The Hearts of Oak winger put up another good display at home. He managed to hold on to the ball very well and his ball distributions were accurate.

He scored his first goal for Hearts of Oak on his return to the club from a direct freekick to put Hearts of Oak on level pegging against Elina Sharks. Cobbinah won the man of the match award.

Nichola Gyan

He gave Berekum Chelsea a torrid time throughout the game and scored the match winner for Ebusua Dwarfs to take his goal tally to eight. Nicholas Gyan was subsequently named the man of the match

Komla Agbaniagdan

He was the tormentor-in-chief for WAFA as they edged Bolga All Stars. The supporting striker despite not finding back of the net was creative upfront by creating spaces and drawing back to support the midfield. It wasn’t surprising that he emerged as the man of the match.

Tanko Mohammed

He scored and gave an assist when Aduana Stars thrashed Tema Youth 3-0 on match day 12. He was also named the man of the match.
