Hearts of Oak eyes three points against Hasaacas

Preview of the Ghana Premier League game between Hearts of Oak and Sekondi Hasaacas at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians will be playing the game behind closed doors following a punishment handed to the club by the FA’s disciplinary committee after crowd violence in their week 6 fixture against Wa All Stars in Accra, a game Hearts lost 1-3.

Hearts of Oak went to the top of the league table for the first time in over a month after their 1-0 win at Berekum Chelsea while then league leaders Wa All Stars lost 3-1 at Techiman City.

The host have gone three games without a win at home while the Sekondi based club have been very poor on the road – losing all their five away games.

Last season in Accra, the Sekondi based club shocked the Phobians by winning 1-2.

“We want to end our three games winless streak at home. Per this season’s record Hasaacas have lost all their away games so they will be coming for a point or three points but we are angrier than them,” Fatau Mohammed told Pulse.com.gh

“We know that we are playing behind closed doors but that will not stop us from getting the three points, we are psyched up for the game and our fans should be rest assured that the three points will stay in Accra,” he added

Augustine Arhinful who has been one of Hasaacas’ best players is unfazed by Hearts of Oak threat.

“We are not scared of Hearts of Oak, last season we beat them in Accra. Preparations for the game have been good and we are waiting for the match day.

“We have the men to beat Hearts of Oak and we will repeat last season’s feat,” Arhinful told Pulse.com.gh.
