Jimmy Cobblah bemoans Inter Allies' draw against Hearts of Oak

Inter Allies coach Jimmy Cobblah says it was unfortunate his team could not take all three points against Hearts of Oak.

The Eleven Is To One side in their quest to beat the drop zone started the game strongly as they dominated and tormented the Phobians and before the break struck the first goal through Ropapa Mensah’s sublime finish.

In the second half, they couldn’t replicate their first half’s performance as the Phobians took control of the game and with five minutes left on the clock Inusah Musah restored parity for the Accra giants.

“Our tactics worked everything went on well, we did our best, they [Hearts of Oak] did their best the referee did his best but it was just unfortunate we couldn’t run away with the three points,” Cobblah told the media after the game.

“My players lost some concentration in the game and in football if you do that you will be punished.”

Cobblah on his side’s survival in the ongoing Ghana Premier League said:

“Relegation teams and winner of the league are declared by the GFA, so let’s keep on playing until GFA declares whoever has gone to relegation or whoever has won the league.”

Inter Allies are 15 on the log sheet with 28 points after 26 games.
