Kotoko appoints Godwin Ablordey as interim assistant coach

Godwin Ablordey will assist former Asante Kotoko player Michael Osei in handling first team duties at the club

Due to the club’s poor performance, the head coach of the side David Duncan was told by the club’s management led by Opoku Nti to step aside until further notice.

The club further appointed then assistant coach Michael Osei as interim head coach while Ablordey who was the club’s team manager has been given a new role at the club.

“After Michael Osei was asked to take charge of the club, the deputy coaching position became vacant and in order to fill in the vacuum Godwin Ablordey has been appointed as interim assistant coach,” a source at the club told Pulse.com.gh

“They have to work hand in hand to ensure victories in the club’s upcoming premier league matches and the management believe they can turn the tables around,” he added.
