The coach of Berekum Chelsea has joined Asante Kotoko according to the official website of the Kumasi giants
"Steven Polack wil be Kotoko’s new Head Coach until the end of the 2016/17 Premier League, the head of Legal Affairs of the club, Yaw Boafo told Asantekotokosc.com.
He is expected to arrive in Kumasi and start work by the end of the week. Management would introduce him formally to the team before he finally starts work.
Asante Kotoko have gone seven straight league games without a win, since losing 0-1 against Hearts of Oak in Accra on match day eight and not even the replacement of coach Frimpong Manso with Zdravko Lugarusic has yielded results
Polack’s job is clearly cut out for him. He would have to restore the waned confidence of the players, bring back enthusiasm in their organisation and play while winning and largely reviving Kotoko’s fortunes in the league. The coach would as well need the firm backing of Management and supporters, who must have the patience for good result.
