Kotoko end Bechem United's unbeaten home run

The Porcupine Warriors continued their impressive away run as they handed the Bechem lads 0-1 defeat.

Second half goal from Frank Sarfo Gyamfi gave Kotoko all the three points.

The home side dominated Kotoko, as they put them under incessant pressure, but the defence men of the visitors were resolute to curb the threat. Ernest Sowah also managed to produce good goalkeeping to deny Bechem United who more promising in the first half.

The tide turned in Kotoko’s favour and they made their dominance pay off when Frank Sarfo Gyamfi in the 72th minute stunner fetched his side the only goal of the game.

The Fabulous boys were worried prior to this game after their marks man Dauda Mohammed couldn’t catch an arranged flight to enable him join the team due to national team assignment.

However, that didn’t prevent them from getting their 3 consecutive away league victory and also fourth win on the trot in all competitions.

Bechem United prior to this game had gone 5 home league games without a defeat having won 4 and drawn 1.

Kotoko’s caretaker coach Michael Osei has won 5 and lost of 1 of his 6 league games in charge.
