New Edubiase boycott league over bias refereeing?

The president of New Edubiase has stated that his club is pulling out of the league, after match day 14.

The Edubiase lads suffered their fourth consecutive loss in the ongoing league when debutants Dreams FC handed them a shocking 0-1 defeat at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

The officials of the hosts were not satisfied with the decisions of the centre referee Maxwell Hanson and his assistants and at a point in the game exhibited their frustration.

“I am pulling out of the league, because officiating is not good and if you don’t have the financial power to influence the outcome of games you don’t get good results.

“New Edubiase don’t have the money to do all that so I will not continue playing in the league,” he told Happy FM.
