Techiman City end Dreams FC's unbeaten run

Dreams FC lost their first game against Techiman City in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday

Baba Mahama's 29th minute strike was enough to amass all points at stake at the Den for the 'Enemies are not God' side led by Yussif Abubakar.

Dreams FC began the game on the front foot, but were pinned back by Yussif Abubakar's boys early on when they won all the midfield battles.

A super swift movement between Issaka Ibrahim and Baba Mahama provided an opening for the latter to poke home the first and only goal of the afternoon.

The pendulum however swung in favour of Dreams FC, who drew level through skipper Bashiru Abdul, but referee ruled that out.

They continued to pile pressure on Techiman City but unfortunately, they lacked the cutting edge to draw parity before recess.

Charles Kwabena Akunnor head coach of Dreams FC approached the second half as he did in the first department of the game, dictating proceedings, but the end product was disappointing

Chances created cried for who could put the ball in the net of Techiman City, and CK Akunnor brought on Kingsley Yeboah for Aaron Amoah.

However, his impact in the game was limited as Techiman City saw off the game to keep their unbeaten home record in this year's league intact whilst ending that Dreams FC.
