Tema Youth suffer dressing room robbery during league game

The Tema boys left Bechem gutted after they found out that thieves had broken into their dressing room and taken vital belongings.

Controversies at the Bechem Park overshadowed Amed Toure's lone goal on the stroke of full time that gave Bechem United the vital three points on Wednesday.

Tema Youth who were not pleased with officiating of centre referee Nuhu Liman returned to their dressing to see thieves had broken into their dressing room.

President of Tema Youth has poured out the frustration his players went through both off and on the field of play.

"It's shocking. After being robbed on the field by referee Nuhu Liman, we suffer another robbery in the dressing room," he said.

"Five players lost their mobile phones, many lost their monies and about four lost their boots. But some of the boots were found around the dressing room later," he added.
