In the English Championship, Albert Adomah played the full game for his Middlesbrough team who were handed a two nil defeat away from home by Charlton Athletic.

Godfred Donsah had 77 minutes of playing time in the Italian Serie A for his Bologna team who lost by two goals to one away at Inter Milan.

Kevin-Prince Boateng was an unused substitute for AC Milan in their goalless draw game against Chievo Verona away from home in the Italian Serie A.

Isaac Cofie played the full game for Carpi in their 2-1 Serie A win against Frosinone on Sunday.

Afriyie Acquah and his Torino team were edged by Genoa in a five-goal thriller on Sunday in the Italian Serie A. The Ghanaian played the full duration of the away game as his team lost by three goals to two. Acquah received a yellow card booking in the game.

Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played 78 minutes for his team as they lost their home game by two goals to one against Roma.

Bernard Mensah made a substitute appearance in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday as his Getafe team were humiliated by Barcelona.

The Ghanaian and his team lost by six goals without reply with Juan Rodriguez, Munir El Haddadi, Neymar, Lionel Messi and Arda Turan getting on the score sheet.

Mensah replaced Wanderson in the 6-0 thrashing when his Getafe team were already down by six goals.

Thomas Teye Partey was an unused substitute for Atletico Madrid who won their Spanish La Liga home game against Deportivo La Coruna by three goals to nil.

Christian Atsu played four minutes of regulation time for Malaga on Friday night in their La Liga win at home to Sporting Gijon. The Ghanaian was named on the bench and replaced Juanpi in the later part of the 1-0 victory for his Malaga side.

In the French Ligue 1, Abdul Majeed Waris scored for FC Lorient as they held Olympique Marseille to a 1-1 draw at home. The Black Stars forward started and played in the entire duration of the game against Andre and Jordan Ayew’s former club.

Frank Acheampong scored a second consecutive goal for Belgium side Anderlecht in the league after bagging a consolation in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.

The Ghanaian forward scored the second of three for Anderlecht as they won their league game against Kortrijk by 3-0. Acheampong started and played in the entire duration of the game against Kortrijk.

Nana Asare played the full game for Gent as they drew away at Sporting Charleroi. The Ghanaian received a yellow card booking in the 1-1 draw for his team in the Belgium Pro League.

In Switzerland, Ebenezer Assifuah scored the opening goal of the game against Young Boys for his Sion team who were unable to hold on in the game.

Young Boys came back twice in the game to finally win it by three goals to two against Assifuah’s team. The Ghanaian forward played the full game without a booking for Sion.

In the Major League Soccer, David Accam who took a point against Orlando City away from home with a 1-1 draw. The Ghanaian forward who scored the equalizer to grab a point for Chicago Fire played in the full duration of the game.

Kofi Opare was an unused substitute for DC United who played a goalless draw away from home against New England Revolution.

Gideon Baah and Lloyd Sam both played for their team New York Red Bulls who were beaten at home by three goals to nil against Montreal Impact.

Baah started and played in the full duration of the game with Sam being replaced by Anatole Abang in the 61st minute.

Dominic Oduro played 80 minutes in helping his Montreal Impact team beat Gideon Baah and Lloyd Sam’s New York Red Bulls.

Emmanuel Boateng made a 67th minute appearance for his LA Galaxy team alongside former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard as they lost by a single goal without reply. Former Chelsea defender Ashley Cole sat out the game for LA Galaxy.

Harrison Afful of Columbus Crew lost against Charles Sapong’s Philadelphia Union on Sunday. Afful played the full game for Columbus Crew in the 2-1 defeat. Sarpong also enjoyed the full duration for his Philadelphia Union team.

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan returned from injury to play in the full game against Shanghai Shenhua for his Chinese team Shanghai SIPG. The Ghanaian forward and his team played a 1-1 draw in the game.
