Daniel Opare excited with Augsburg bow

The 25-year-old, who has been fit since his return from injury in October 2015, will be hoping to make his third appearance for the German club in Saturday’s test match against FC Basel.

Ghana defender Daniel Opare is happy to play again for Augsburg after being sidelined with an injury since October.

The right back made a return to the Augsburg starting line-up for the first time in two months to feature in the 1-0 win over Dynamo Dresden in a friendly match in Estepona, Spain Tuesday.

Opare told GazzettaGhana: "Obviously I’m very happy to be back and playing for my team and showing what I can do on the field."
