Black Stars defender scores for Columbus Crew in MLS

Harrison Afful registered his name on the scoresheet, as Columbus Crew suffered a 3-2 defeat against New York Red Bulls.

Afful's strike came in the 83rd minute to make it 3-2 to keep the head on the hosts in the dying minutes.

Bradley Wright-Phillips bagged another brace to surge into a late lead atop the Audi Golden Boot race.

But there were plenty of grimaces at the final whistle at Red Bull Arena on Sunday, as RBNY slacked off late and nearly allowed a 3-0 lead to evaporate into a draw.
