Ibrahim Musah savours heroic display in win against Inter Allies

"I know that I have to score and probably get the winning goal and I did it so I’m really happy" - Ibrahim Musah

The Phobians after 10 minutes in the second half went down 2-0 courtesy Fredrick Boateng and Gockel Ahortor’s free kick.

But the comeback from the Accra giants started when Isaac Mensah pulled one back two minutes after Inter Allies’ second goal.

17-year-old Ibrahim Musah was introduced in the game with Hearts of Oak searching for an equalizer as he restored parity for his team with nine minutes to end the game. Ibrahim Musah netted the winning goal later as the Phobians won 3-2.

“It was a tough game I must confess. When the team was 2-0 down, everybody wrote us off but we the players believed we can do it so when I was introduced in the game, I know that I have to score and probably get the winning goal and I did it so I’m really happy,” Musah told Pulse.com.gh.

“I thank our fans for their massive support. They came in their numbers and supported the team. I want them to continue their support in all the games we will be playing and we are not going to disappoint them,” he added.

The Phobians are still on top of the log sheet with 13 points.
