“We trained very hard during the week, and in the game we distinguished ourselves well. So our hard work paid off,” Preko told the media after the game.
“I’m working very hard, the boys also are working for very hard, the league is not over so we are going to fight till the end because looking at the league table we also have the chance to win the league,” he added.
The Phobians are at the third position with 45, three points adrift the league leaders Aduana Stars.
Preko’s side in their next game will host Medeama at the Accra Sports Stadium in the penultimate game of the domestic top-flight championship.
