Sergio Traguil hails Inter Allies output in Accra stalemate

Hearts of Oak coach Sergio Traguil praises Inter Allies after draw against his team.

The Tema based side who are battling relegation were fired up for the game and they turned in one of their best performances in the ongoing campaign as they dominated the Phobians in the first half and scored the game’s opening goal through Ropapa Mensah.

But in the second half, Traguil’s side re-strategized and their swift attacking play forced the Tema based side to defend deep which they pulled even in the 85th minute but Inter Allies despite a man down held on to earn a draw.

“First half we didn’t play good football, we had some difficulties in our game. Inter Allies I would have to say came with a good strategy and they played very good football in the first half and I have to give credit to them, they deserved to score,” Traguil said after the match.

“In the first half we simply didn’t exist, the second half was completely different we came in with more motivation and determination the same thing we supposed to have done in the first half but giving 45 minutes to your opponent is not a good way to win a game and it became difficult for us,” he added.

Hearts of Oak despite the draw are still 3rd on the league log with 42 points, three points adrift the leaders Wa All Stars. The Phobians will play as guests to Bechem United in their next league game.
