Ghana midfielder shows off boxing skills

The Crystal Palace midfielder showed he was equally good at a martial art and combat sport in which two people throw punches at each other by going through paces with Crystal Palace Foundation coach Wayne Lleweelyn.

Ghana youngster Hiram Boateng proved his competencies at the other side of sports when he turned a boxer at Crystal Palace Foundation boxing session on Friday afternoon.

He had spent the earlier part of the campaign on loan at League Two side Plymouth Argyle, before an ankle ligament forced him to cut that spell short.

Boateng has since returned to his parent club and with them suffering something of an injury crisis themselves, has been used as a substitute by manager Alan Pardew in their last two games.
