Former Parma player Solomon Nyantakyi has finally revealed the main reason why he murdered his mother and 11-year-old sister.

The Ghanaian admitted to the crime on July 13 after being stopped by police at Milan train station, having fled his home upon killing his mother Nfum Patience, 43, and sister, Magdalene Nyantakyi a night before he was arrested.

His brother, Raymond Nyantakyi, discovered their bodies stabbed to death after returning home from work.

Whiles undergoing psychiatric examination after committing the gruesome act, Nyantakyi revealed: “They [my mother and sister] were possessed by the devil, so I had to kill them. “Now I’m free,” Nyantaky is quoted by Italian website, parmapress24.it.

He joined Serie D side Imolese last summer after a spell with Tuttocuio’s youth side.
