Ex-Black Stars defender calls for Muntari’s return

Isaac Vorsah believes the current Black Stars would need the experience of outcast Sulley Muntari.

Muntari, 22, with Kevin-Prince Boateng was thrown out of the Black Stars camp for indecent during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The former Inter Milan and AC Milan midfielder who was part of the Black Stars teams that played in the 2006, 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups in addition to two Africa Cup of Nations has not been invited to the national team since the Brazil saga, despite apologising this year.

Isaac Vorsah, who played together with Muntari in the Black Stars believes Muntari is the solution to the recent poor run of form of the team.

"The current Black Stars is made up of so many young players but we need some senior players like Sulley Muntari to join the team," Vorsah told Accra-based Hot FM.

Ghana have not won any of their past four games under coach Avram Grant.
