Ghanaian stars to receive Mercedes B-Class plus GH¢ 1m from Leicester owner

Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha set to reward Ghanaian players Jeffrey Schlupp, Daniel Amartey and their teammates for winning the 2015/2016 English Premier League title

It never gets boring hearing or saying that. For a Leicester City team who had a single chance of winning the Premier League in 5000 years [literally that was what the odds meant], doing it in the first year was pretty much awesome.

The title race was officially over on Monday night when Chelsea players out of a great determination to prevent their London rivals from winning their first Premier League title came back from two goals down to secure a draw to hand Leicester City the 2015/2016 Premier League title.

Aside the joy of Jeffrey Schlupp and Daniel Amartey being part of the heavy underdogs defying all odds to win the English Premier League title, there is more.

Thai businessman and owner of Leicester City Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is determined to reward his players with a Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive.

The price for the Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive is around GH¢ 180, 000.

The Leicester City players will also share a whooping GH¢ 34, 851, 117 among themselves. Jeffery Schlupp and Daniel Amartey will have GH¢ 1,161, 703 each for being part of the title winning team.

Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha can afford these payments considering the lucrative UEFA Champions League money next season and his GH¢ 11 billion worth.

The owner has also promised the Leicester City players an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas as part of celebrating their first top flight title.
