Kevin-Prince Boateng throws back to sleek assist during time with German Bundesliga club Schalke 04.

In the throwback video, Boateng is seen to give a backheel flick to teammate Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting who brilliantly swerves the defenders to put the ball in the back of the net.

The Ghanaian player who spent the second half of last season with Italian Serie A club AC Milan is a free agent.

Spanish club Las Palmas are however close in completing a transfer deal for the former Tottenham Hotspur player. The Spanish club’s president Miguel Angel Ramirez  has been in talks with the German-born Ghanaian with negotiations in advanced stage.

Kevin-Prince Boateng has previously played for Hertha BSC, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, AC Milan and Schalke 04. The 29-year-old has also player for the Germany U21 national team and the Black Stars of Ghana featuring in the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament.
