Latif Blessing perturbed over club's poor form

Latif Blessing is getting worried over Liberty Professional's poor form.

The Dansoman based side were in splendid form in the first round but they have under-performed in the second round which has pushed them to 12 position on the log sheet.

The club is not only performing badly in the league but they failed to achieve their season’s target as they got crashed out of the MTN FA Cup by second-tier side Okwawu United.

“I’m not happy about our recent poor showing. Things are not going well for us this second round because we’ve lost all our home matches,” said Blessing.

“I’m getting worried. Football is like that but only God knows what’s going on so we will leave everything to God.”

Blessing who is battling an injury has scored 13 goals in the ongoing league and despite trailing Yaya Mohammed who has 14 goals, the 20 year-old speedster believes Aduana Stars leading marksman can’t deny him the goal-king title.

“I’m still eyeing the goal-king title because we have about four matches to play to end the season and I believe strongly that when I return to the pitch I will score more goals to catch up with my contenders. God can use just one second to do a miracle so I believe that he can use just one match to make me a goal-king,” he concluded.
