Ghanaian striker Majeed Waris has been voted the November player of the month at French Ligue 1 side Lorient.

The 24-year-old was honoured with the award after scoring in four consecutive games.

After failing to score in over 10 previous matches, Waris scored against Metz to end his five-month goal drought. Since then he has been in freescoring mode, bagging goals against Rennes, Angers and Toulouse.

Lorient are currently sitting at the bottom of the league ladder, despite grinding out some good results in recent games.
