The owner of Congolese club TP Mazembe has been jailed.

A court in Lubumbashi on Wednesday ruled in Mr. Moise Katumbi Chapwe’s absence. The owner of TP Mazembe had left for London to receive a specialised treatment.

Evidence provided according to the court was sufficient enough to sentence Mr. Chapwe to prison for a fraud offence against a Greek international living in his home town.
