England are due to arrive in Bangladesh on September 30 for three one-day internationals and two Test matches.

The England and Wales Cricket Board has declared it safe to tour the country despite concerns over security, with 20 hostages having been killed in a terrorist attack in July.

Director of England cricket, Andrew Strauss, has warned players who opt out of the tour they risk losing their place in the team in future.

Asked about his personal concerns regarding the tour following England's nine-wicket Twenty20 defeat to Pakistan on Wednesday, Morgan said: "As an individual you need to be comfortable within yourself to be able to focus on cricket.

"I've been to places before where things have become a distraction. It's only been once or twice when security has been a distraction and when it has been I've told myself I'll never put myself in that situation again.

"Playing international cricket, or any cricket for that matter, is not about worrying about different things, it should be the best time of your life, it should be something that you are looking forward to and wanting to do well and able to focus on.

"You've guys [on the England team] who haven't toured anywhere like this before under circumstances like this and I think given that nobody has toured there since the terrorist attack, [it's] a bigger decision."
