They started the match at opposite ends of Group E, but Cedevita tore up the form book to overcome Fenerbahce in Euroleague.
Despite having sat bottom of Group E, Cedevita beat leaders Fener comprehensively, winning every quarter to prevail 89-59.
The Croatian side were led by Marko Arapovic, who sunk 18 points, as Fener suffered just their second defeat of the Top 16 phase.
In the same group, Anadolu Efes kept pace with the top four by overcoming Unicaja 87-67.
There was no joy for Group F's rock-bottom side as Zalgiris were edged out 76-71 by Khimki, despite leading at half-time.
A poor third quarter proved costly for Zalgiris, who have won just two of their 12 matches.
Elsewhere,Olympiacos fell just short of triple figures in a 99-84 win over Real Madrid.
