Bulgarian wins second title in 2017

His win took his record for the year to 14-1 with his only defeat coming in the Australian Open semi-finals when he lost in five sets to Rafael Nadal.

Dimitrov, who went through 2015 and 2016 without a title, didn't drop a set all week in the Bulgarian capital and will move to 12 in the world rankings on Monday.

"This is my most prestigious title. Winning it at home is a tremendous success for me. I will treasure this title for the rest of my life," said Dimitrov who now has six career titles and was champion in Brisbane last month.
