Fiji wing Savenaca Rawaca has pulled out of a move to Saracens, citing "personal reasons".

Rawaca, part of the Fiji sevens side that claimed a historic Olympic gold at Rio 2016, agreed a move to Sarries in January.

However, the 25-year-old will no longer be joining the Premiership and European Champions Cup holders due to personal issues in his homeland.

"We are naturally disappointed that Save has decided not to take up the offer to join Saracens, as we felt that he would have been a great addition to our group, but we fully respect his decision," said Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall. "We wish him and his family all the best for the future."
