Connacht set up an all-Irish Pro12 final with Leinster by overcoming Glasgow Warriors 16-11 at the Sportsground.

A 14-7 victory over Glasgow on the final day of the regular season assured Connacht home advantage for their semi-final meeting, and they made it back-to-back victories on Saturday.

The defending champions suffered a blow within two minutes as Finn Russell had to be taken off on a stretcher due to an injury sustained in a collision with team-mate Zander Fagerson.

AJ MacGinty and Duncan Weir traded penalties before Niyi Adeolokun touched down the crucial first try in the 37th minute.

MacGinty successfully kicked the conversion to give the Irish province a seven-point lead at half-time but Leone Nakarawa hit back for the visitors eight minutes after the restart.

However, while Weir was unable to convert, MacGinty's boot remained accurate and he completed the victory with two further penalties.
